THE VISION
GENERATIONS is a two-year discipleship and generosity initiative to establish a permanent gospel home in the heart of Bergen County — so that the gospel of Jesus Christ will be preserved and proclaimed to future generations.
Primary Goal
100% Participation
Our hope and prayer is that everyone who calls Church at Bergen home would become a fully engaged participant in the vision of Generations. We long to see each and every person commit to growing in discipleship and generosity.
Secondary Goal
$3.9 Million Over 2 Years
1. Two–Year Operating Expenses — $1.8M
2. Downpayment for Permanent Home — $1.8M
3. Staffing & Resourcing for NextGen Discipleship — $200K
4. Outreach & Digital Media Engagement — $100K
WHY MUST WE ACT NOW?
We cannot afford to wait.
Our church is currently leasing a facility with rent costs that continue to rise. Every dollar poured into rent is money that could be invested into a permanent home—a place that secures long-term ministry stability for generations.
At the same time, our church is growing. We are already at capacity in the children’s and youth ministry, our weekday discipleship opportunities are limited by space, and our outreach potential is capped by current resources. If our church continues to grow without expanded capacity, we will hit a ceiling that stifles both discipleship and mission.
If we wait until later, we risk losing momentum, paying exponentially more in rent, and missing the opportunity to establish a permanent home.
Acting now ensures that the gospel is preserved and proclaimed for generations to come.
WHAT NOW?
PRAY
for God to unleash the power of the gospel through us as a church.

the gospel to the next generation with boldness and clarity.
